Year 12 visits to Parliament, Banqueting House and the National Portrait Gallery- September 2015
During the first half of the autumn term September 2015 all year 12 historians travelled to London for a special introductory day on 17th Century Britain. The purpose of the trip was to think about and imagine 17th Century Britain and enhance history study skills. The students travelled to and from central London by train and whilst there had the opportunity to take part in a busy programme of activities including:
• Entrance to UK Parliament to visit Westminster Hall • Entrance to the Banqueting House Whitehall • Packed lunch in Trafalgar Square • Visit to National Portrait Gallery |
