KS3 HistoryStudents investigate and explore a variety of historical enquiries in British, European and World History from the Romans to the present day. In so doing they develop knowledge and understanding of historical concepts and processes and make progress in their abilities to think about them, taking these skills forward into their GCSE studies.

KS4 HistoryStudents investigate and explore a variety of historical enquiries from options within the Edexcel SHP syllabus. The main areas of study are Medicine through Time 1250-2000, Treatment and Surgery on the Western Front 1914-1918, Early Elizabethan England 1558-88, Cold war 1941-91 and Germany 1918-39. In so doing they develop knowledge and understanding of historical concepts and processes and make progress in their abilities to think about them and take these skills forward into their post 16 studies.

KS5 HistoryStudents investigate and explore a variety of historical enquiries from options within the Edexcel History syllabus including British, European and World History. The main areas of study are Britain 1625-1701, the Russian Revolution 1894-1924, Germany 1870-1990 and the origins of the Cold War 1945-53. In so doing they develop knowledge and understanding of historical concepts and processes and make progress in their abilities to think about them that will enable them to consider a University application.
