Year 7 historians are currently progressing through a unit on medieval monarchy. Having decided as a class on the factors that make a good monarch, they played ‘monarchy top trumps’ to get a feel for the challenges that monarchs faced in the period. Students were then set a homework to write a letter to a friend, explaining their worries and concerns as if they were a king or queen. These scrolls are some of the best examples, where students have gone ‘above and beyond’ in their homework. Well done year 7 and keep up the great work
