Ann Frank Exhibition comes to Thomas Tallis
|
During the first two weeks of July 2015 Tallis be hosted the Anne Frank Trust for year 8. This was an excellent opportunity for some students to develop leadership skills and for all students to learn about a key figure and History, moral courage and helping others. All year 8 tutor groups visited the exhibition, which took place in the sixth form study area and was led by year 8 students. A workshop was delivered by the organisation called what is Resistance?
What was particularly touching along with the power of the narrative itself and the display, was to witness the legacy of Anne's father Otto's wishes for the trust in action. The children taught each other in a carefully considered development of peer education and it worked brilliantly! |
